ESAD 2024-25 Annual Catalogue Blog Hop

Hello again! Today I'm hopping with fellow Demonstrator friends from around Australia and New Zealand. We're all part of a Facebook group called ESAD.

We are showcasing products from the new 2024-2025 Annual Catalogue which launched on the 2nd of May and I hope you get lots of ideas and inspiration as you hop around the blogs. You may have arrived from seeing the talented Sharon Dalton's gorgeous creation but if you started here, click the 'Next' button at the bottom of this post to continue hopping.

With so many fabulous new products it was difficult to decide which to feature for today's hop.

For my project I have chosen a couple of new products and combined them with other products which have carried over from our previous catalogue.

When I saw the Country Birdhouse Bundle, I immediately thought of Beach Huts. I used the Beach Day dies together with the dies from Country Birdhouse to create a Z-Fold card with my colourful Bathing Boxes as they are known in Brighton, Victoria.

The card folds to fit into a standard C6 envelope

All products used are available in my Online shop here

JAI#646 - Inspiration Pic Challenge

The challenge at Just Add Ink this week is to use the photo below as inspiration to create a project.

I don't send Easter cards but I do love making Easter treats so that's what I went with for this challenge.

The only Easter themed stamp set I have is Fable Friends which, although retired, still gets used a lot for baby cards, baby shower treats and of course Easter treats. In fact all the stamp sets I used for this box were from my 'retired' stash.

Stamp Sets used:
Fable Friends
Tin Of Tags (Surprise)
Sweet Little Something (Happy Easter)
Hey Chick (Tone-on-Tone stamped eggs on egg insert)
Thoughtful Blooms

I used Flirty Flamingo Cardstock and DSP

The measurements and instructions for making this project can be found in the PDF below.

TGIF Challenge #413 - Product Challenge

This week's TGIF challenge is to use Vellum as an overlay.

For this challenge I decided to use a technique called Double-Stamped Vellum.

This technique gives the illusion of the Vellum being overlaid on a piece of stamped cardstock.

In actual fact, it is just one piece of Vellum stamped on both sides which is then adhered to the white background.

The images are first heat embossed with white embossing powder on the top side of the Vellum which is then flipped over and stamped with coloured ink on the reverse side.

Once the ink had dried, I attached the Vellum to a frame which I die cut from Basic White cardstock using the Stitched Rectangle Dies.

To finish, I adhered the rectangle frame to the Thick Basic White card base using  Foam Adhesive Strips.
