Today I have joined up with a group of fellow Stampin' Up! Demonstrators to showcase products from the 2023 Sale-A-Bration offering which is available from the 4th January until the 28th February. For every $90 AUD you spend during the Sale-A-Bration promotion period, you get to choose from fabulous free products.
I chose the lovely Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper which you can receive free with an order of A$90.00. The paper coordinates with the Dainty Delight Bundle in the Mini catalogue so if you purchase the bundle, you can get the paper free!
I absolutely love the beautiful floral designs of this paper and thought it would make perfect wrapping for gifting flowers so I decided to make a paper vase . The idea was inspired by a project from Anna Sposato which I modified to suit.
I cut a piece of Basic White cardstock 17cm x 29cm and scored it at 5cm from the lower edge (base of the vase).
As I wanted to have as much of the pattern showing as possible, I cut the DSP 17.5cm x 29cm and scored it at 4cms from the top edge and 1.5cms from the lower edge.
I then adhered the cardstock to the DSP just below the top score line. This meant that the DSP did not cover the Basic White cardstock all the way to the lower edge. However, once the bottom flaps had been glued together, I cut a piece of Mossy Meadow cardstock 6.8cm x 6.8cms to cover the entire base of the vase
