ESAD See Ya Later Favourites Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to another ESAD Blog Hop. All good things come to an end as the saying goes and with so many fabulous new products in the upcoming 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue, it's time to say farewell to some of our favourites.
You may have arrived from seeing Nicole's farewell creation but if you started here, click the 'Next' button at the bottom of this post to continue hopping.
Make sure you visit everyone - there are lots of great projects and you won't want to miss any!

At the end of this month several of my favourite things will be retiring so I thought I would use some today and combine them with a technique which I recently demonstrated in a Zoom class - the Rubber Band Technique.

I first wound several rubber bands around a clear block and then stamped randomly on a piece of Whisper White cardstock in Versamark.
Next I heat embossed with white embossing powder and then sponged over the stamped image with the retiring In Colours 2018-2020.
I used the In Colour Stampin Write Markers to ink up the sentiment from the Genuine Gems Stamp set and stamped onto a piece of Whisper White. I cut the sentiment out using the Stitched Shapes dies and layered this onto a mat of Blueberry Bushel cut with the Layering Circle dies.
I heat embossed the word 'Awesome' in white on a scrap of Call Me Clover cardstock and adhered this over the stamped word with Dimensionals.

For my second card, I used the same Rubber Band technique. I stamped randomly in Night of Navy, Sahara Sand and Seaside Spray onto Whisper White cardstock. I then adhered this to a piece of Sahara Sand cardstock and embossed this with the Corrugated 3D embossing folder.

I cut a circle out of one of the cards from the Sail Away Memories and More pack and adhered this to a mat of Night of Navy cardstock which was punched out with the Starburst punch. I stamped and die cut the sailing boat and die cut the steering wheel and finished off with one of the Sail Away Trinkets.

This is such an easy technique and the possibilities to create patterned paper are limitless. All you need are rubber bands, a clear block, ink and paper!
